Into Great Silence

Indigenous and Buddhist traditions of deep contemplation and deep listening.

This introductory talk draws on both the traditional Aboriginal contemplative tradition of dadirri and Buddhist contemplative meditation traditions to explore how we can create deep inner peace, a space for healing, renewal and re-connection with ourselves, our communities, our peoples, our lands, our world.

The Contemplary is delighted and grateful that Venerable Chokyi has agreed to give this talk in the context of her ongoing exploration of the commonalities between Aboriginal and Buddhist contemplative practices.
