In conversation with a contemplative

Tara Choying Lhamo

Tara Choying Lhamo is an Austrian-born contemplative who has been living in retreat for over twenty years. Twelve of those years were spent high in the mountains of Nepal in one of the caves frequented by Milarepa (one of Tibet’s most famous yogis and poets). Tara agreed to speak publicly about her experience for the first time last year in London and subsequently came to Australia In 2017 to share her unique story.

Tara is a Buddhist Dharma practitioner and student of H.H Chetsang Rinpoche and Garchen Rinpoche. The evening was a remarkable opportunity for people of all religious persuasions (and none) to connect to and draw inspiration from a dedicated contemplative.
